REDUCED FARES

If your child is 14days to under 2 years

  • He or she can travel on your lap on any flight.
  • When traveling with your child, you pay up to 10% of the adult fare.
  • If your child celebrates their second birthday during your trip, they will automatically be registered for the child rate for all the flights in your booking. The infant discount no longer applies. 

If your child is 2 years to under 12 years

  • When traveling with your child, you pay up to 75% of the adult fare.

Any person above 12years is considered Adult`

 

Adult and Children are both entitled to 25kg.

There is no checked in baggage allowance for infants, only hand baggage will be accepted. Detailed information on your free baggage allowance are available on our website or from us upon request.

Infants (Under 2 years)
Infants that do not occupy a seat are not allowed checked baggage but are allowed one (1) piece of hand luggage not exceeding 5kg on board.

Excess Baggage
Excess baggage fees apply to any baggage weighing more than the specified free baggage allowance depending on the booking class purchase. Excess baggage fees are charged on a per kilo basis.

Overweight and Oversized Bags
PassionAir SHALL NOT accept for transport any single bag exceeding 32kg. Passengers MUST either reduce the weight of the bag or break it into smaller pieces.

Individual passengers’ total number of checked bags cannot exceed five (5) bags.
Each bag must not exceed 250x79x112cm (LxHxW) with a maximum circumference of 300cm.
PassionAir reserves the right to refuse or delay the carriage of bags due to operational restrictions.

Unaccompanied Minors (6years - 12years old)

PassionAir accepts an Unaccompanied Minor (UMNR) for children aged between 6 – 12 years to travel alone without any accompanying adult. The following conditions must be met:
• A parent/guardian must take the Unaccompanied minors to the airport. The escorting adult MUST remain at the airport until the flight departs.
• The parent/guardian must fill in the UMNR form before/at check-in. Download the Unaccompanied Minor form here.
• The children should have a pouch/pocket that holds all their details/documents and is collected at the check-in counters.
• A parent/guardian/designated adult MUST be available at the airport of destination to collect the child at the destination airport. They should identify themselves and report to the PassionAir representatives there.
• PassionAir will not release the child/children unless the name on the Unaccompanied Minor form matches the photo ID of the collecting parent/guardian.
• PassionAir will only accept responsibility for Unaccompanied Minors between the time the unaccompanied minor is handed over and accepted for travel until the unaccompanied minor is handed over to the receiving adult at the destination airport. This Unaccompanied Minor Service may be requested for children who are between 6 and 12 years old (both ages included). Children below 6 years of age will not be accepted as unaccompanied minors.

Travel tips

– Travel is not recommended for infants in the 7 days following birth. – Avoid travel if your infant is ill.

– Bring enough bottles and food for the trip.

– Please remember to bring the items you need for changing your infant (diapers, wipes, etc.).

– Make sure your infant drinks amply during the trip.

– Prior to departure, please remember to make sure you have all your child’s documents required by the police, customs agents and immigration officers at your destination country.

– If you are bringing a stroller on board, please remember to affix a label displaying your contact information (name, address, phone number and e-mail).

– If your child is receiving medical treatment or suffers from travel sickness, please remember to bring his or her medical record and medications.

– Choose comfortable and warm clothing (sweaters and socks).

– During take-off and landing, give your child a piece of candy or chewing gum, or a pacifier, bottle, lollipop or cookie for infants, to reduce possible earaches.
